"Will I sign in tomorrow and expect to find gardening tips and cooking recipes in the LASERDISC CHAT section? Or how to service a 1980 Morris Marina Coupe?" [/quote]

Well, PeaceMaker1, your worst fears have come true.

Here's my Top 10 Gardening Tips in movie form:

1. THE EMERALD FOREST (1985)
2. A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN (1945)
3. FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC (1987)
4. INSIDE DAISY CLOVER (1965)
5. THE SECRET GARDEN (1993)
6. LAWN DOGS (1997)
7. THE WOOD (1999)
8. TREES LOUNGE (1968)
9. NO BLADE OF GRASS (1970)
10. THE CONSTANT GARDENER (2005)

And as for recipes, you can't go wrong with:

1. EAT THE PEACH (1986)
2. DELICATESSEN (1990)
3. LA GRAND BOUFFE (1973)
4. ALICE'S RESTAURANT (1969)
5. HELL'S KITCHEN (1939)
6. GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER (1967)
7. LE DINER DE CONS (1998)
8. THE FOOD OF THE GODS (1976)
9. THE BREAKFAST CLUB (1985)
10. A VERY SPECIFIC RECIPE (2007)

All of the above are movies (many in my own LD collection) and the latter can help you lose weight as part of a calorie-controlled diet (but you may suffer severe indigestion with some of them).

Morris Minor service tips coming soon.

Look forward to the morris minor service tips but for now I have come up with a few films that the good old morris minor has appeared in.

Sorry thought it was the morris minor that you wanted to see , suppose I could do it all again with the morris marina. Not the star that the minor is but you can find the marina in a few films.

For the first time in ages i actually laughed out loud at something on the internet so hard that I almost wet myself.

I hear that mixing banana peel into the soil is good for roses (Seven Pounds).

Yes I know I realised after I had done all the hard work but the minor is such a classic it deserved a mention, anyway I have done my best for you and added a few marinas , not sure if any are a 1980 coupe though. Very Happy

I would love to own an old classic like the marina but I think I would go for a ford , an old cortina would be good. I even like the old rover 800 the ones from the early 80s.
