What to do with corroded discs ? Some members will no doubt have discs that suffer from disc rot and perhaps thrown them or are thinking about throwing them in the bin. Well we all know the importance of recycling so can these be put to better use.

these are cds but Im sure you could also use laserdiscs

I noticed the other day that the "basket and coaster" sets are made by this seller on etsy if anyone wants to buy any of them or get ideas: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Luckily I've not had any laser rot that renders a film entirely unplayable but I would like to get a fully working copy of Close Encounters of the Third Kind Criterion Special Edition which would leave me with the question of what to do with the mostly working copy...
