Hello - just joined, and it's great to be part of a forum dedicated to laserdiscs. Just before writing this message, I had a quick tot up of my laserdisc collection. I've surprised myself as I've got about 110 titles - about 90 UK PAL releases (quite a few pre-cert), a dozen or so NTSC releases, a couple of LaserKaraoke and a handful of CD Video of all sizes (5", 8" and 12").
I have a few laserdisc players, mainly mid-80s models which include serial interfaces so that I can control playback via a computer. It all started a few years ago when I got my hands on the parts to make a 1986 BBC Micro Domesday System and it's expanded from there!
At the moment, I'm trying to collect early pre-cert laserdiscs, partly for curiosity value and partly because these early titles are most likely to play in my players which don't support digital sound found on later laserdiscs.
