As you know, not into Anime at all really but that does look impressive. What's on the CD then?

The first CD I played in my laserdisc player was a mini CD single purely for the irony of a tiny CD in a massive CD tray. |

| I have had quite a few new arrivals over the last week or so , not sure which to keep yet some might end up in the dinodisc store? All except The Keep are in the last 100 USA laserdisc releases. I was very pleased to get mouse hunt , its been a long time since I last saw that one for sale. I was pleased to find that it was still sealed too but now I cant bring myself to open it. | Think I will keep these unless I get another copy then I will list them , The keep will be listed because I have an extra one ,the one in the photo is still sealed too but it will be expensive. Ive had a few in the past and and they have always sold within a few days of being listed , sold them too cheap I think. Others that arrived sealed are mouse hunt , the corruptor, silver chalice and the other sister. Great but I cant bring myself to open any of them.
PeaceMaker1 Isn't THE KEEP a must have title?
Yes peacemaker The keep is a must have and is one of the most sought after laserdiscs , I have sold a few in the past but it has cost me more to replace , I bought one then found it for sale cheaper so bought that too , but at least the more expensive one came sealed , was described as excellent condition but I never expected it to be sealed , so worth the extra I suppose.

| Great pick ups there admin. Especially existenz. They all come in the one haul? Nice. I got a copy of the keep widscreen in a lucky dip box I bought of 100 discs for $100. Was very surprised to pull that bad boy out. Unfortunately, it went into my ever growing pile of laserdiscs that I've sold on eBay and then regretted later. Life oh life hey. | |

| would have been nice if it had been one big haul but I bought them all seperate , costing me too much really. Going to have to put a stop on my spending for a bit me thinks a do a few more swaps with my fellow dinodisc members | |

| Just won this lot at auction for the pricely some of 310yen (plus 800 yen shipping) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Was great to get a few Criterions that I've been after, so cheap. Robocop is the 2 disc edition as well which is even better. Also, now I can finally check out Jessica Rabbits muff on the CAV ed. of WFRR Sad thing is, I don't have the room to keep most of the other discs, so though it pains me to do it, I'll probably just sell them to the Junk Shop near my house where they buy laserdiscs at 10yen (12cents) a title (and then sell them for 100 yen). I once sold a box of 70 dups and inferior copies, and got 700 yen for my troubles. If only the UK/States was closer and I could just give them to some of you | |

Well depending on shipping prices I'm sure many of us wouldn't mind BUYING them from you. From looking on ebay I tend to find the shipping prices Japanese sellers offer vary greatly from surprisingly good to extortionate, but then again you see that from UK sellers too. I certainly wouldn't junk them, there's always a lot of interest in Japanese LDs throughout the world so I'm sure you'd be able to sell a good few of them. |

| Hi All,
Sorry its been a while bit life is a bit mad here with 5 kids + full time uni + work!
I am getting 500+ discs sometime within the next week so ill have to post some pics when I get a minute or two. I'm just glad that I haven't got to pay the postage as work is sending me to Liverpool so I'm picking them up in a works van! :-) they even pay the fuel!
I just wondering how im going to store them!
There may be some for sale / swap at some point after I have sorted them so I will post a list!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Good to see you got Boogie Nights , I know that was one you really wanted I agree that both Casino and Goodfellas are great films , De Niro is one of my favourite actors and another good film is A Bronx Tale , I dont have a top 5 or even top 20 films as there are so many films that I love and I couldnt choose the best because I like them all for different reasons but most of De Niro's films I like , Departed was very good and Jackie Brown was excellent , Samuel L Jackson is another of my favourites. A Martin Scorsese film that I havent seen is Kundun , I have it on laserdisc but I have not got round to seeing it yet, anyone seen it and would you recommend it?

| Received 'An American Werewolf in London a couple days ago. It's the NTSC Remastered Widescreen edition. The picture is awesome on it. Really clear, great colours, soft but detailed. The sound though I thought was pretty weak. It has it's moments but overall it could've been better. I know it's in Mono but other Mono LaserDiscs sound awesome. The Terminator for example is amazing. Clear, Dynamic and better than the 5.1 remasters. AAWIL still sounds good, just not as good as I thought it would. | |
